Annual Showcase of Graduate Research at Worcester Polytechnic Institute Set for March 28

What:

The breadth and quality of the graduate research programs at Worcester Polytechnc Institute (WPI) will be in the spotlight as graduate students share the results of their ongoing research projects in a poster-style symposium. The annual event gives students the opportunity to present their research to peers, faculty members, and the WPI community at large, and promotes the exchange of information and ideas across a wide variety of disciplines. Monetary awards and certificates will go to the top posters in the following categories: engineering; life sciences and bioengineering; science and other fields.

Who:

More than 160 graduate students from WPI’s engineering, science, life sciences, and other departments will present posters summarizing their research findings; 30 WPI faculty members will serve as judges to select the best posters.

When:

Wednesday, March 28, 2007.

Posters on display from 1 to 4 p.m.

Awards presentation from 4 to 4:30 p.m.
