Raise the Roof

The Zeta Zeta chapter hopes to raise enough finances through their House Fund to purchase their own house near the campus, as they now lease their current building. The goal for this semester is to reach $2,000.

“As part of an international fraternity, we can receive help from the Alpha Gamma Delta Fraternity Housing Corporation, as well as our chapter’s own Housing Association in this process,” explains Chelsea Costa, publications coordinator for the sorority.

Sisterhood

Alpha Gamma Delta Zeta Zeta chapter was the second sorority at WPI, established in 1980. Costa clarifies the goals of the group as a chapter, saying that the women “seek to promote sisterhood, scholarship, good citizenship, and leadership. We have sisters involved in many different organizations on campus, including Masque, VOX, Green Team, SocComm, Dance Team, rugby, SGA, and SAS.  Each term we ‘Strive for Pi’ or seek to achieve a Chapter GPA of 3.14 or higher.”

No stranger to productions around campus, the group is known for hosting such events as the Teeter-Totter-A-Thon on the Quad each spring with Lambda Chi Alpha, as well as smaller events, such as Dimes for Diabetes.
