ATM Services

There is a TD Bank ATM (Automated Teller Machine) located in the main lobby of the Campus Center. If you have any questions or need assistance with ATM services, please contact Michelle Pickett at mpickett@wpi.edu or +1-508-831-5728, or ask at the Campus Center Information Desk. WPI endorses neither any particular bank for student bank accounts nor the use of credit cards for students. Many local banks will be present during student orientation to establish bank services based on individual customer needs. Please check the New Student Orientation Schedule for more information.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a surcharge and a service fee A surcharge is a fee charged by the ATM owner that appears on your ATM receipt when you perform a transaction such as a cash withdrawal. Surcharge fees are different from service fees. A service fee appears only on your account statement and not on your ATM receipt, and is charged by your financial institution for a transaction made at an ATM that they don't own.

What do I do if the ATM retains my card The ATM may retain your card if your card-issuing bank has notified the network that the card has been reported lost or stolen, or for other reasons known only by your issuing bank. If your card is retained, it will be collected by ATM security staff and delivered to the local TD Bank branch, where it will be destroyed. You must contact your issuing bank for a replacement card.
