With a Ph.D. in Robotics Engineering from WPI and an extensive background in applied mathematics, optimization and mechatronics, Dr. Faal is at the forefront of research in optimal and nonlinear control, state estimation, and motion planning. He is particularly interested in advancing autonomous navigation through the development of novel algorithms and innovative solutions. His professional journey includes impactful roles in both academia and industry, where he has led projects aimed at enhancing robotic automation and machine learning applications in robotics.
