SDG 4: Quality Education - Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all

Nicole Luiz is a WPI Alum from the class of 2018, with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Sustainability Engineering. As a student at WPI, Nicole was an active Sustainability Intern, working closely with the Office of Sustainability and Facilities Department. After graduation, Nicole pursued a career in Energy Engineering, where she developed and implemented energy efficiency projects. Her primary client base was colleges, universities, and private K-12 schools. In addition to energy efficiency projects, Nicole supported the development of Sustainability and Climate Action plans. With her technical background, she conducted greenhouse gas assessments and provided guidance for setting goals to reach carbon neutrality.
Nicole has returned to WPI to bring her enthusiasm for energy and sustainability to WPI's campus planning and initiatives.Â
