The building also houses:
- The Biomanufacturing Education and Training Center, a 10,000-square-foot, fully functional bench- to pilot-scale biomanufacturing plant where professionals can explore new processes, train on state-of-the-art equipment, and hone their skills with hands-on practice.
- PracticePoint, a membership-based research, development, and commercialization alliance founded to advance healthcare technologies. The focus is on smart and secure medical devices that interact with the physical world to improve the promise of patient-centric care.
- The Lab for Education & Application Prototypes (LEAP), which will support the development of the integrated photonics industry across the Northeast. A collaboration between WPI and Quinsigamond Community College, LEAP will also provide training and education to help build a skilled integrated photonics workforce in Central Massachusetts.
