ACE Colleagues to Present at Energy Providers Coalition for Education Conference September 29, 2020

Several WPI faculty colleagues will be appearing Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the Energy Providers Coalition for Education (EPCE) Annual Coalition Meeting, being held virtually. EPCE partners with WPI to help bring our graduate power education to online students across the U.S.  

A panel discussion moderated by Mike Ahern, Director of Academic and Corporate Engagement, will focus on grid modernization macro-trends, their impact (and its timing) on the power industry, and implications for power plant operations. The panel will feature three adjunct faculty members: Lalitha Devarakonda, Substation Technical Engineering at Eversource Energy; Babak Enayati, Manager of the Technology Deployment Team at National Grid; and Slobodan Pajic, GE Energy Systems Consulting.  

WPI Power Systems Professor Edvina Uzunovic, also VP for Education in the IEEE Power & Energy Society, will present on Power Education.  

Sue Hicks, Senior Manager, Online Programs in WPI's Online and Corporate Education group, will moderate a panel on best practices in employer education assistance programs.
