Class of 2024: Everything You Need to Know About Commencement Week

Commencement Ceremonies will be held at the DCU Center in Worcester; tickets are required for all guests. Please review important information about what you can and cannot bring into the DCU Center.
All members of the Class of 2024 are invited to join these activities:
Tuesday, May 7:
1:30 pm: The Earle Bridge Crossing and Student Convocation Program (formerly Baccalaureate). Wear your regalia and meet at the Fountain for the Processional, which will wind past the library, around Boynton Hall, across Earle Bridge and to Harrington Auditorium for Convocation and an Ice Cream Social.
Staff and Faculty in regalia will line Earle Bridge as you cross.
Wednesday, May 8:
3:00 pm: The ROTC Commissioning Ceremony will be held in Alden Memorial. Regalia is not needed; please join us in the audience to celebrate our cadets’ first salute.
Thursday, May 9:
5:00 pm: The Graduate Commencement Ceremony will begin. Students must arrive by 4:00 pm via Door 2 and must be in WPI regalia. Students arriving after 4:00 will sit in the last rows and will not be seated with their school or classmates.
Students who reserved transportation will be notified when and where to catch a bus via your HUB account.
Tickets are required for all guests entering the DCU Center. Graduating students do not need tickets.
Friday, May 10:
2:00 pm: The Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will begin. Students must arrive by 1:00 pm via Door 2 and must be in WPI regalia. Students arriving after 1:00 will sit in the last rows and will not be seated with their school or classmates.
Students who reserved transportation will be notified when and where to catch a bus via your HUB account.

We cannot stress enough: Tickets are required for all guests. Those without tickets will not be permitted entry into the DCU Center. Backpacks, bags larger than 8" x 10”, balloons, and other items are NOT permitted in the DCU Center; please review the DCU Center’s policy here and note that all students & guests will proceed through DCU metal detectors. Please allow ample time.
