The Office of Undergraduate Studies was pleased to host its annual Awards Luncheon on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in recognition of the recipients of three distinguished honors: Kranich, Two Towers, and Salisbury Awards.

Wilmer L. and Margaret M. Kranich Prize The Kranich Prize honors students majoring in engineering or science who best exemplify excellence in the humanities and arts, and the meaningful integration of these disciplines into their undergraduate experience. Candidates must be completing their junior or senior year and may be majors in any discipline outside of the Humanities and Arts. Students with a double major in the Humanities and Arts are not eligible.

Two Towers Prize The Two Towers Prize is awarded to the student who, through academic excellence, campus leadership, coursework, and distinguished work in research and projects, best exemplifies the union of theoretical and practical proficiency — the hallmark of the WPI educational tradition.

Salisbury Prize The Salisbury Prizes are awarded to highly meritorious members of the WPI graduating class who have faithfully, industriously, and with distinguished attainment fulfilled all requirements for the Bachelor's degree.
