President Leshin joined the WPI Board of Trustees on Feb. 26 in honoring more than 50 faculty members for exceptional achievements in 2014 during the inaugural Trustees’ Celebration of Faculty Achievement.
Examples of honors included full promotions, fellowships, new publications and patents, and young investigator awards.
One of this year's commended faculty—Kathi Fisler, PhD, who was recently promoted to full professor of computer science and is director of the WPI Cybersecurity Program— delivered a lecture at the beginning of festivities titled "What Cyberattacks Teach Us About Security Education."
