George C. Gordon LibraryART | WPI is returning! We are excited to be receiving beautiful submissions in all media from so many faculty and staff in our community.
The final call for this year's submissions is Friday, February 16. Items should be brought to Archives and Special Collections, on the Ground Floor of the Library, between the hours of 10am-3pm on Monday-Friday.
A few reminders if you're preparing your submissions this week:
- Owing to space limitations, we are asking artists to submit no more than three (3) works per artist. We are happy to announce we can now accommodate digital art submissions. Please contact us to coordinate your display needs.
- We ask artists to prepare their work for display (e.g. framed) in your preferred format. If you have questions about how to display your work please contact us: archives@wpi.edu.
- Digital submissions: Digital submissions will be shared in the exhibit area on large-format mobile monitors. Please contact us if you have digital art that you would like to submit, so that we can discuss how it can be presented and how you can submit your digital files.
Exhibit and reception: All submissions will be on display from February 26 to April 19, 2024 in the Scott Room (next to Room 302) on the recently renovated third floor of Gordon Library. A reception for all artists and the community will be held on Tuesday March 19 from 4-6 pm (please note this has changed from our previously announced date).
