The Gordon Library Will Be Closed During A to B Term Break (10/12-10/16)
As part of preparations to re-open the Gordon Library entrance floor at the start of B-Term, the Library building will be closed to the public during the A-B Term break, both on the Monday holiday (10/12) and on Tuesday-Friday that week (10/13-10/16). During that week, we'll be moving and installing furniture and technology and setting up study spaces and services throughout the Library. We expect to re-open on Sunday, 10/18, but please be sure to check our hours before visiting in case we need to delay until Monday, 10/19.
- Library Services:
- Though the building will be closed, staff will be available to provide Library services remotely. Please contact us at library@wpi.edu for assistance.
- IT Services:
- During the closure, the IT Service Desk is providing in-person support in the ATC Main Office - Fuller Labs 117, and virtual support via email (ITS@wpi.edu) and phone (508-831-5888).
- Technology for Teaching and Learning (TTL) is providing virtual support via email to atc-ttl@wpi.edu.
The fully renovated entrance floor will reopen to the public on the first day of B-Term, featuring new tech suites, revitalized study spaces, WPI's first dedicated art studio classroom, a full-service cafe, and more. We are excited to premiere the new spaces very soon and appreciate your patience during A-Term's intensive construction. Stay tuned for news about a "grand re-opening" celebration in early November!
