WPI Library’s Archives & Special Collections Department is excited to announce that we have added access through the Digital WPI repository to several histories of WPI, the four volumes of the original WPI Plan (The Future of the Two Towers), as well as nearly 150 years of digitized yearbooks. All works are full text searchable and available for download.

The WPI Histories Collection showcases the university’s distinctive stories and major milestones, tracing its growth through key events, accomplishments, and institutional changes—from its establishment by seven founders to the development and transformation of the WPI Plan.

Available titles include:

The newly added Yearbooks Collection includes almost all of the school’s yearbooks published between 1875 – 2018. The first yearbook published by the students of Worcester Technical Institute was named, The Antenna, and debuted in 1875. The title changed several times and was known as The Aftermath for almost 40 years, until it was superseded by The Peddler, in 1928. To view the yearbooks sorted by year (descending) users can navigate to the Yearbooks - Sorted By Year link.
