Introducing Our New Campus Safety App: WPI Safe

This introduction to WPI Safe was emailed to employees and students on February 24, 2026.

Dear WPI Community,

WPI is launching WPI Safe, a new mobile safety app to supplement the existing WPI Alert system and blue light emergency phones. WPI Safe also offers new features, including quick access to emergency contacts, real-time safety alerts, tools such as Friend Walk, and more.

This implementation is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance campus safety, streamline communications, and provide user-friendly technology that supports our entire community. You can download now and review features using WPI Safe – Mobile Safety App instructions on the Help Portal. FAQs are also available there.

Over the coming weeks, you’ll receive more information about WPI Safe, key features, and training resources.
