We hope you'll join us on Friday, March 22, 2024, as we celebrate the installation of WPI's 17th president, Grace J. Wang, PhD. We'll be commemorating this historic moment with a full day of festivities on campus. 

To help you prepare, here's a quick rundown of key events and deadlines. For detailed information about President Wang, the full schedule, accommodations, and more, please visit the official inauguration page. 

Inauguration Day Event Schedule | Friday, March 22, 2024

  • Campus-wide research showcase and tours: all day
  • Inauguration ceremony: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Sports and Recreation Center (main floor)
  • Inauguration reception: 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Rubin Campus Center (third floor)
  • WPI community-wide event: 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sports and Recreation Center (main floor)

Important Deadlines

  • Faculty regalia orders: February 16
  • RSVPs: March 1

Faculty members: When you RSVP, please indicate if you'll be joining the processional. And be sure to order your regalia, if needed, by February 16.
