Congratulations to WPI Biomedical Engineering Professor Songbai Ji for his award entitled “Model-based cumulative analysis of on-field head impacts in contact sports,” funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH). This award is to allow us to develop a computational modeling technique with real-time efficiency to help facilitate the prediction of traumatic brain injury in contact sports.
