We are delighted to announce that Professor Steve McCauley has been selected as the new head of the Department of Integrative and Global Studies (DIGS).  Professor McCauley has contributed extensively to all aspects of the Global School since his initial assignment in 2013.  He has served as the co-director of Melbourne project center since 2016, has been director/co-director of the Global Lab for over 6 years, and more recently expanded his involvement by joining the Great Problems Seminars team.

His research encompasses climate resilience, urban planning and pedagogy in the time of AI with funding from both internal and external entities including NOAA, NSF and the WPI WIN.  We look forward to his leadership, creativity and vision at this key time for the department.
