Weekly Athletic Update (03/09-03/15)

Department(s):

Sports & Recreation

This was supposed to be the Weekly Update we shared with you that Sydney Packard was Track and Field’s first national champion and tout the accomplishments of the nine others competing at the NCAA Championships.

This was the Weekly Update that was to include information on Tyler Marsh becoming the tenth Wrestler to earn All-America honors.

This was the Weekly Update where were going to preview Sid Williams competing at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships.

This was the update where we were going report on the spring break performances of Benjamin Chaffee playing all nine positions in a game for Baseball in Florida and Caraline Wood well on her way to another All-America season for Softball in California.

This was the Weekly Update that was going to the get you ready for Outdoor Track and Field and Men’s and Women’s Rowing.

Now this becomes the Weekly Update where we stop to honor our 46 seniors who represented WPI this spring.  Some may return for a fifth year (and in three cases a sixth year) but others will accept jobs or attend graduate schools at different locations.  But to those 46, THANK YOU for everything you have given to WPI Athletics.
