WPI Biomedical Engineering Announces 2026–27 Peura Founder Scholars
The WPI Department of Biomedical Engineering is pleased to announce that Brian Kerekon '27 and Abigail Belding '28 have been selected as the 2026–27 Prof. Robert A. Peura Biomedical Engineering Founder Scholars.
The Founder Scholar Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate students in the WPI Biomedical Engineering community. Recipients are selected for their academic achievement, engagement, and contributions to the department, reflecting the excellence and dedication that define the BME program.
The department is deeply grateful to the Peura family for their continued generosity and commitment to supporting biomedical engineering students. Their support helps provide opportunities for students to pursue their academic and professional goals while strengthening the WPI BME community.
