The i3 Competition takes place today at Alden Memorial from 3 to 5 pm. The i3 is an “elevator pitch” contest for Masters and PhD students who provide brief business concepts before a panel of judges. Students must tell how their innovations will address a commercial or societal need, and how the concept will attract the interest of the marketplace—and they must do so without any visual aids. Finalists will vie for cash prizes as they present to a panel of distinguished entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, and business executives.
