Lighting Fair - 2014

WPI’s 4th annual Energy Saving Lighting Fair
November 24, 2014

In an effort to help WPI employees and students save money and energy at home, as well as helping to protect the planet’s environment, the Student Green Team will host a special Energy Saving Lighting Fair on Tuesday, Nov. 25, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.min the Campus Center.

Everyone can purchase a variety of high-quality, energy efficient lighting products at deep discounts from an ENERGY STAR certified vendor. If you can’t attend but want to participate, Student Green Team members will offer an on-campus delivery service. Send your orders to lightdelivery14@wpi.edu with your location and what time you will be available for students to drop off your order and collect payment. Delivery is free, but a tip for the Student Green Team would be appreciated.

The lighting fair is part of the Mass Save program, and is sponsored by National Grid. These events offer great prices on energy saving products that help lower the cost of our energy bills and reduce our nation’s carbon footprint. The Mass Save program, which all residents contribute to through their electric energy bills, enables the offering of these products at special prices to WPI community members to purchase and use at home.

See the Lighting Fair product flyer for the items and prices available for purchase at the event. We would like you to take notice of the best value-combo special which includes three dimmable 60w LED A19s using only 11w, six 60w warm white incandescent-style CFL A19s which use only 13w, and two 60w desk lamps using only 13w (bulbs included) – all for $10. Other products include a variety of LED indoor lights, LED specialty bulbs, plug load management, and ShowerStart Shower Warmup devices.

Methods of payment will be cash or check only, and sales tax will be applicable.
