Relay FREE-DAY in Rubin Campus Center

To kick off the registration of Colleges Against Cancer’s Relay for Life event, happening on April 12-13, 2014, Relay FREE DAY is happening in the Rubin Campus Center on Friday, Nov. 15, between 10am and 2pm.

Colleges Against Cancer (CAC) is a dedicated group of students committed to holding events throughout the year to raise awareness about different types of cancer and cancer prevention, and to fundraise for the American Cancer Society, the national organization dedicated to fighting cancer and helping cancer patients.

Relay for Life, planned by CAC, is one of the largest events on WPI’s campus, regularly drawing over 1,000 students, faculty, and family members to Harrington Auditorium for 15 hours of Relay fun! The goal of Relay for Life is to celebrate, remember, and fight back against cancer.

Celebrating the 2nd century of the American Cancer Society, WPI’s theme this academic year is Relay for Life: The Final Frontier, ‘In It to End It.’

On Friday, Relay FREE DAY, the CAC will actively sign up the first Relay teams and, as a reward, anyone who registers will receive a $1 off coupon to WooBerry and a FREE Colleges Against Cancer T-shirt.

Cancer never stops and neither should we, so stop by the RCC on Friday and sign up!
