What

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has organized the university's 3rd annual Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society's (ACS) signature fundraising activity. This fun-filled overnight event is designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. Teams made up of students, faculty, and staff will camp out on WPI's Quad and take turns walking or running around it. Each team is asked to have a representative walking around the Quad at all times during the event. Relays are 12-24 hours in length.

More than 400 WPI community members have already registered. Over the past two years, WPI team members have raised $125,000 for the ACS, which is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Relay For Life. WPI's goal this year is $70,000.
