What

Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) has organized the university's 2nd annual Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society's (ACS) signature fundraising activity. This fun-filled overnight event is designed to celebrate survivorship and raise money for research and programs. Teams made up of students, faculty, and staff will camp out on WPI's Quad and take turns walking or running around it. Each team is asked to have a representative walking around the Quad at all times during the event. Relays are 12-24 hours in length.

More than 400 WPI community members have already registered. WPI team members have thus far raised $20,000 for the fund-raiser. Last year, $60,839 was raised; this year's goal is $75,000.
