Paul joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2012. As Executive Director, Paul leads the advising team to ensure that goals and projects in the office are aligned with WPI’s strategic mission and vision. In addition, he collaborates with staff and faculty across campus to promote and support WPI’s academic advising model, oversees the operations of the Academic Advising Office, supports a caseload of students, and is the lead on WPI’s degree audit system. He also participates on a number of campus wide committees, including: CARE Team, Committee on Advising and Student Life, Committee on Academic Operations, Financial Aid Appeal Committee, Fringe Benefits Committee, and the More in Four Strategic Planning Group.
Paul received his B.S. in Management and M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Providence College and also has an M.B.A. from Bryant University. Outside of work, Paul enjoys running and spending time with family.
Elizabeth joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2015. In her role as Assistant Director of Academic Advising, Elizabeth is responsible for advising students who are interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare field, including those who are pre-med, pre-dental, or pre-vet. Elizabeth also serves as a resource to students who are on academic warning or probation. Elizabeth has a B.A. in Communications and Spanish from Marist College and a M.S. in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University. Outside of WPI, Elizabeth enjoys fitness, trivia competitions, going to concerts, and finding great places to have brunch.
Asst Dir of Academic Advising
Jessie joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2014. In her role as Assistant Director, Jessie supports a caseload of students, students who are on academic warning or probation, and students who are undecided about their major. Jessie also supervises the Community Advisors and works with the Insight Program. She has a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in English from Bridgewater State University and a M.Ed. in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University. Outside of WPI, she enjoys working with her local wrestling team, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Asst Dir of Academic Advising
Tally joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2014. In her role as Advisor for Academic Support and Transitional Resources, Tally advises transfer students and serves as a liaison for Mass Academy students, Greek Life, and Athletics. Tally also supports students who are on academic warning or probation and is a resource to sophomore students. She has a B.A. in English for Secondary Education from Hope College and a M.S. in College Student Personnel from Miami University of Ohio. Outside of WPI, Tally enjoys cycling, reading, and traveling.
Advisor for Academic Support
Angela joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2016. In her role as Advisor for Academic Support and Sophomore Programming, Angela serves as an academic coach to students who are on academic warning and probation. Angela is also responsible for creating engaging and academically based programs for sophomore students through the ‘sophoMORE Success Program.’ Additionally, Angela works closely with the Career Development Center (CDC) to create programming and marketing for students looking to fit Co-ops into their academic plan. She also works with students interested in the combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Program (BS/MS). She is responsible for updating and creating content for the office Instagram (@WPIAcademicAdvising). Angela has her B.A in Psychology from Quinnipiac University and her M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Merrimack College. Outside of WPI she enjoys cooking, quoting movies, listening to great music, and spending time with friends.
Administrative Assistant VI
Teresa joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2010. In her role as Administrative Assistant, she manages AP and transfer credit evaluations, and supports the office by scheduling appointments, preparing correspondence, maintaining office files, and supervising work study students. Outside of WPI, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, church involvement, and crafts.
