Paul joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2012. As Executive Director, Paul leads the advising team to ensure that goals and projects in the office are aligned with WPI’s strategic mission and vision. In addition, he collaborates with staff and faculty across campus to promote and support WPI’s academic advising model, oversees the operations of the Academic Advising Office, supports a caseload of students, and is the lead on WPI’s degree audit system. He also participates on a number of campus wide committees, including: CARE Team, Committee on Advising and Student Life, Committee on Academic Operations, Financial Aid Appeal Committee, Fringe Benefits Committee, and the More in Four Strategic Planning Group.
Paul received his B.S. in Management and M.Ed. in Guidance and Counseling from Providence College and also has an M.B.A. from Bryant University. Outside of work, Paul enjoys running and spending time with family.
Elizabeth joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2015. In her role as Associate Director of Academic Advising, Elizabeth is responsible for advising students who are interested in pursuing careers in the healthcare field, including those who are pre-med, pre-dental, or pre-vet. Elizabeth also serves as a resource to students who are on academic warning or probation. Elizabeth has a B.A. in Communications and Spanish from Marist College and a M.S. in College Student Development and Counseling from Northeastern University. Outside of WPI, Elizabeth enjoys fitness, trivia competitions, going to concerts, and finding great places to have brunch.
Jessie joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2014. In her role as Assistant Director, Jessie supports a caseload of students, students who are on academic warning or probation, and students who are undecided about their major. Jessie also oversees the Insight Program for first-year students. She has a B.S. in Psychology and B.A. in English from Bridgewater State University and a M.Ed. in Higher Education in Student Affairs from Salem State University. Outside of WPI, she enjoys working with her local wrestling team, running, and spending time with friends and family.
Tally joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2014. In her role as Assistant Director, Tally advises transfer students, oversees that academic coaching program, teaches ID 1000: The Summer Academic Success Program, and serves as a liaison for Mass Academy students. She has a B.A. in English for Secondary Education from Hope College and a M.S. in College Student Personnel from Miami University of Ohio. Outside of WPI, Tally enjoys cycling, baking, reading, and traveling.
Bekah joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2018. In her role as Advisor for Academic Support and Fellowship Opportunities, Bekah assists students in applying for competitive scholarships and fellowships opportunities. She also works with students who are on academic warning or probation. Bekah received both her B.A. in English and M.Ed. in Educational Leadership from Lehigh University. Beyond working at WPI, Bekah enjoys cooking, cycling, and spending time with friends, family and her dog.
Greg joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2018. In his role as Advisor for Academic Support & More in Four Initiatives, Greg advises students and works with the Career Development Center to create programming and marketing for students seeking to fit Co-op opportunities into their academic plans. He also works with students interested in the combined Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree Program (BS/MS). Greg has twenty years of experience working in higher education as a student support professional and classroom instructor. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature in English and a Master of Education degree from Worcester State College. Outside of WPI, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, gardening and writing poetry.
Angela joined the Office of Academic Advising in 2016. In her role as Advisor for Academic Support and Sophomore Programming, Angela serves as an academic coach to students who are on academic warning and probation. Angela is also responsible for creating engaging and academically based programs for sophomore students through the sophoMORE Success Program. She is responsible for updating and creating content for the office Instagram (@WPIAcademicAdvising) and social media pages. Angela has her B.A in Psychology from Quinnipiac University and her M.Ed in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Merrimack College. Outside of WPI she enjoys cooking, quoting movies, listening to great music, and spending time with friends.
Teresa joined the office of Academic Advising in July 2010. In her role, she supports a variety of Academic Advising initiatives. These include, assisting with administration of the Insight Program, and the MASH and tutoring programs, preparing and processing personnel payroll purchasing and accounting documents, and assigning students to appropriate advisor according to their majors. Additionally, She maintains the office’s supplies and equipment to keep the office functioning smoothly. Outside of WPI, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, cooking, church involvement and crafts.
