Meet the Team

In her nearly 20 years at WPI, Rachel has assumed a variety of leadership roles across the university. As a member of the university administration, Rachel is responsible for cross-functional collaboration to drive strategic initiatives and data-driven decision making. This includes managing university-level initiatives in areas such as the strategic plan, operational excellence, and institutional data analysis. Formed in mid-2021, the office of strategic initiatives and university analytics serves as a central hub for supporting change management using a data-driven approach.

A member of the office of strategic initiatives and university analytics since its formation in 2021, Melissa is responsible for the institutional research functions within the office, including ensuring the integrity and responsible use of institutional data and serving as liaison for key data collections and compliance. Having worked at WPI for over 25 years, Melissa has spent most of her time in analytics roles within admissions, enrollment and institutional research and brings a depth of institutional knowledge to the team. She holds two degrees from WPI – a BS in Biotechnology and an MS ...

Sue is a strategic business partner who serves as Program Manager in the Office of Strategic Initiatives & University Analytics. Sue is responsible for oversight of key university-wide initiatives, designing and leading implementation plans to execute critical initiatives and enhance collaboration across the university. In addition, she leads operational excellence projects to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Sue joined WPI in 2019 after spending 15 years at Fidelity Investments in various senior level program management positions spanning Investment Services, Marketing & ...

Dan is a Data Intelligence Analyst within the Office of Strategic Initiatives & University Analytics.  Dan is responsible for developing analytic solutions in support of university goals using best practices with visualization tools such as Tableau.  Working with the team to ensure high levels of accuracy and precision in data reporting and data integrity, Dan designs and develops dashboards and reports to help internal and/or external customers access and analyze data.  He joined WPI in 2014 and spent more than six years in the Registrar's Office before joining this team. ...
