Asli Kalayci is a dedicated individual pursuing a Ph.D. in Business Administration at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). With a passion for improving digital healthcare applications through innovative technologies, Asli has focused her research on user-centered design of products related to information systems. Asli's concentration is Information Technologies (IT), particularly the implementation and adoption of mobile health applications, designed for marginalized populations.
Asli began her academic journey by earning a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from Bilkent University, Turkey. As part of her senior year project, she developed a heuristic algorithm for milk-run operations and material handling processes optimization to maintain inbound logistic activities for factories. This foundational education equipped her with a solid analytical background and a deep understanding of complex systems in the industry.
In addition to her academic accomplishments, Asli has two years of project management experience at TUBITAK (Advanced Technologies Research Institute), involving operations management and research responsibilities, where she actively worked on research and development.
