Jack was warmly welcomed to the SDCC team in Jan. 2025. He is working towards achieving his LMHC licensure and graduated with a Masters of Art in clinical counseling psychology from Assumption University with concentrations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Child and Family Interventions. CBT heavily influences Jack's clinical expertise when working with students experiencing various levels of anxiety and depression, as well as other presentations such as bipolar and other mood disorders. His clinical work is also heavily influenced by strength-based talk therapy when helping students process and work through various struggles of daily life. Prior to joining WPI Jack worked for emergency mental health, doing outpatient community based counseling, and in alternative schools and residential facilities with kids and young adults. When not at work you will likely find Jack reading (with at least one cat nearby), watching TV (with at least one cat nearby), or playing video games (with, you guessed it, at least one cat nearby). When he is feeling brave enough to leave his cats at home you can find him playing hockey, reading outside, or trying to find a new place to adventure.
