Sabrina joined the Student Development & Counseling Center (SDCC) as a counselor in 2011 and became Director of the SDCC in 2022. Sabrina is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and holds a MA in counseling psychology from William James College (formerly known as the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology). Her clinical approach is influenced by Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and draws from a trauma-informed, strengths-based and mindfulness forward background. Sabrina's clinical interests include helping student's navigate life transitions, navigating interpersonal challenges, building self-compassion and connection, trauma, depression, stress and anxiety. Sabrina is passionate about engaging with students to support their overall well-being in and build meaningful, sustainable connections. Outside of the SDCC, Sabrina recharges by spending time with her family and friends, traveling, playing with her French-bulldog Baxter, and finding herself tackling a house project.
