Peer-Reviewed Publications
WPI undergraduates with their advisors often submit their research work for publications in scholarly, peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings. The peer-review process subjects the work to the scrutiny of others who are experts in the same field. This helps ensure that the work is original, important, valid, and of high quality. Summer Research Projects
Every summer, many WPI undergraduate students participate in research, both as a part of programs and independently with faculty and departments. You can see them, and read a little bit about summer 2020 projects at WPI Summer Undergraduate Research Projects. The projects were sponsored by the Early Research Experience in E-Term (EREE) Program, the Summer Training in the Arts and Sciences (STAR) Program, the WPI Women's Impact Network, the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation (LSAMP) Program, many academic departments, the National Science Foundation (NSF), and other companies and institutions.
