The CWB empowers every member of the WPI community to thrive with a holistic approach to well-being that strengthens vitality, meaning, and connection. We help individuals cultivate balanced cognitive, physical, emotional, social, and spiritual energy—while building purpose, nurturing relationships, and fostering a healthier, more supportive campus community.
The Center for Well-Being (CWB) uses an evidence-based, research-informed approach to foster a culture of holistic well-being for the entire WPI community. Our work is guided by four pillars:
A Welcoming Space
Wellness Education, Resources, & Programming
Integration of Well-Being into Academics
Independent & Cross-Functional Research
Through coordinated initiatives—including peer advocacy, academic partnerships, prevention efforts, and ongoing research—we draw on best practices from public health, positive psychology, student affairs, and the full spectrum of wellness dimensions.
Our goal is simple: to give every member of WPI the tools and support to build their own well-being journey.
Our Vision
We envision a campus where well-being is part of everyday life—empowering students, faculty, and staff to thrive from their first day at WPI and throughout their lives.
Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.
