Withdrawal Policy

We strive to make off-campus opportunities available for as many students as possible. In an effort to fill available spaces, we have set the following withdrawal policy for all Global Projects Programs. The Global Experience Office works closely with onsite vendors, travel agencies, and suppliers for an array of services. Their services frequently require our office to make deposits and other non-refundable financial commitments for upcoming programs.

Global Projects Program Withdrawal Policy

You are required to commit to or decline your placement offer to your Global Projects Program by the deadline indicated in your notification. Failure to respond to your placement offer will result in removal from the program including possible withdrawal fees.

If you decide to withdraw from your Global Projects Program after you have committed, you MUST submit the Global Projects Program Withdrawal Form online.  If you require assistance or have questions about this form, please email us at global@wpi.edu.

The decision to withdraw after you have committed may have financial consequences, as outlined below.

Please note: The Global Scholarship is only applicable to GPP programs (conducted on-site or remotely) and will be removed from your account if you withdraw. The scholarship cannot cover withdrawal fees. Fees will be posted to your student account ~3 weeks prior to the start of the term and will be due immediately; failure to pay may result in a hold and or late fee being applied to your Student Account.
