SMS Terms and Conditions
This text messaging service gives users the ability to subscribe to receive text messages from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). SMS messaging will be used to provide information on upcoming events and announcements specific to your relationship with WPI.
1. When users opt-in to receive messages from WPI, they can expect to receive messages related to upcoming events, deadline reminders, and confirmations of transactions.
2. You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text "STOP" to our number. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS
messages to you again.
3. If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can contact admissions@wpi.edu.
4. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
5. Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. The frequency of message will vary. If you have any questions about your text or data plan, contact your wireless provider.

WPI SMS Privacy Policy
We use text messaging to communicate with you about our services. Normal messaging rates apply and the frequency of messages may vary. Mobile carriers are not liable for
delayed or undelivered messages.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional
purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
Opt-out of text message communications: You may opt-out of text messaging at any time by replying to any message with "STOP".
This will end the communications from that particular phone number. You may continue to receive service-related and other non-marketing text messages from other phone numbers managed by WPI and you may opt-out of those in a similar fashion.
