$20K Transfer Scholarship, Every Year.

Students transferring from Middlesex Community College receive the WPI Transfer Partner Scholarship, valued at a minimum of $20,000 annually for up to four years. This award can be combined with additionalmerit scholarships and need-based financial aid, depending on eligibility.

Begin at WPI with Free Summer Courses

As part of the MCC partnership, transfer students may enroll in two summer courses at no cost (a $5,000 value). It’s an opportunity to get comfortable with WPI academics, meet classmates, and transition smoothly into project-based coursework.

WPI has welcomed transfer students from partner institutions for decades. Students from Middlesex Community College are guaranteed admission when they meet the following criteria:

Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3*
Completion of an associate’s degree in any academic program
One college-level precalculus or Calculus I course
One laboratory science course

Full-time transfer students enrolled at WPI, domestic and international, are eligible for WPI merit scholarships and need-based aid.

Part-time transfer students enrolled at WPI are not eligible for WPI merit scholarships or need-based aid. However, part-time domestic students may be eligible for federal and / or state financial aid.
