WPI Plans for Fall Opening Latest Information

General Collections

With more than a quarter million print volumes, more than one million ebooks, access via approximately 250 databases to over 159,000 journals and other serials and millions of full-text articles, we support WPI's intensive use of information for project work and multidisciplinary collaboration.

The Gordon Library’s collections of books, journals, databases, manuscripts, audiovisual and other materials are principally chosen to support the WPI curriculum, and student and faculty research.

For more information about the library’s collection policies, including our policies for making gifts or gifts-in-kind to the collections, please see our policies page.

Archives and Special Collections

The library's Archives and Special Collections feature WPI history, the industrial history of Worcester, the history of science and technology generally, and fire protection engineering. A highlight is our extensive collection of the published works of Charles Dickens, many made available through Digital WPI, and Dickens-related manuscripts and research materials, in addition to art.
