Council on Undergraduate Research Features WPI's Showcase for Senior Students' Projects

Department(s):

Undergraduate Studies

The Council on Undergraduate Research, whose mission is to support and promote high-quality mentored undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative inquiry, designates a week each April as Undergraduate Research Week. WPI’s Undergraduate Research Projects Showcase, formerly Project Presentation Day is among the university events featured on the council’s website

This year’s showcase features the research, design, and creative theses of approximately 1,145 WPI seniors across 556 major qualifying projects (MQP) teams.

Project sponsors, whether private corporations or public institutions, join with the community to celebrate the remarkable outcomes of students’ project work, which mirror the kinds of professional work students will tackle in their careers.

The showcase on April 21 will be spread across the campus.
