The Gordon Library’s new online catalog, FOLIO (WPI Library Search) launched last week. Access the catalog from the search box on the Library homepage.
Delivering a more intuitive, user-friendly discovery experience for WPI students, faculty, staff and all library users, the new FOLIO catalog replaces our former catalog (ExLibris) with a system that is less complex and offers a clear user interface.
FOLIO is delivered and supported by an innovative partnership between a librarian-driven open-source community, and EBSCO Information Services. Currently, more than 300 institutions worldwide (including Caltech, Holy Cross and UMass Amherst) use EBSCO FOLIO.
To try out FOLIO, visit the library’s home page or bookmark a direct link to the full user interface. This direct link is also available from the “Advanced Search” option below the search box. Please note that you may need to clear your browser’s cache, use a private or incognito browser tab, and/or restart your computer for initial access.
To sign in to your personal account in FOLIO just click on the “sign in to your institution” link at the top of the FOLIO screen. While much in FOLIO will be familiar to library users, some things have changed in the new system.
