Interim Title IX Policy and Interim Sexual Misconduct Policy Extended

Effective August 14, 2020, WPI adopted two interim policies: an Interim Title IX Policy and an Interim Sexual Misconduct Policy.  These interim policies will be applicable through the end of the current academic year. 

In the coming weeks and months, a working group consisting of staff, students and Faculty Governance leaders will be reviewing these policies for compliance with changes to Title IX under the Biden Administration, as well as Massachusetts’ new state law on sexual violence on college campuses (effective August 1, 2021).  WPI looks forward to engaging the WPI community (students, faculty, and staff) in finalizing these very important policies and appreciates the continued collaboration of Faculty Governance in this process.  If you have any questions, please contact WPI’s Title IX Office.
