CSWS:

Students with Federal Work Study have the opportunity to complete their hours and get paid by supporting a local non-profit organization. Students can read about the Community Service Work Study program here. If you’re interested in participating in Community Service Work Study (CSWS), you can find roles on the Student Employment website under “Community Service Center” here. If you have a specific organization you’d like to work with that is not listed or have a certain interest you’d like to explore, you can reach out to Mackenzie Lipman, Assistant Director of Student Activities, at mlipman@wpi.edu to talk through next steps.

 Community Service Van:

Are you a student or club looking to do service, but have no transportation? Look no further than the WPI Community Service Van! Organizations are eligible to reserve the van through MyWPI in order to be brought to and from their respective service location in the city of Worcester. If you’d like to reserve the community service van, you can fill out the form here and someone will be in contact with you shortly. The van is a free service that all students are eligible to use.

  CS Fair:

Come on out to the Quad on Thursday, September 14th  from 11:00am-2:00pm for the Community Service Fair! This fair-like event will allow you the opportunity to connect with non-profits in the city of Worcester and learn more about their mission and the work they do. If you have Federal Work Study and are interested in completing your hours through community service, the Community Service Fair is a perfect event for you to attend. Students will get a ticket for each table they visit and if you get 4 tickets, you will be able to get ice cream thanks to the support of the Community Service Van! You can find the event here.

  Emerging Leaders:

Emerging Leaders is a 7 week certificate course hosted by Student Activities. Students will learn about general leadership topics while they connect and collaborate with other students.
