Coming August 17, 2026: A New Maintenance Management System for WPI Facilities

The Facilities Department is excited to announce that we are transitioning from SchoolDude to WebTMA as our new Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order management. The new system will officially go live on Monday, August 17, 2026.

This upgrade is part of our ongoing commitment to improving how we manage maintenance requests, preventive maintenance, asset management, and customer service across the WPI campus. WebTMA provides a modern, feature-rich platform that will enhance our ability to respond to service requests more efficiently while offering improved reporting, scheduling, and communication.

What This Means for Campus

Beginning August 17, 2026:

  • All new maintenance requests should be submitted through the WebTMA portal.
  • SchoolDude will no longer be used for submitting new work requests.
  • Users will have improved visibility into the status of their maintenance requests.
  • Facilities staff will leverage enhanced tools for work management, preventive maintenance, and asset tracking.

Preparing for the Transition

Until August 17, please continue using SchoolDude for all maintenance requests. Existing requests in SchoolDude will still be completed in SchoolDude.

The Facilities Customer Service webpage will be updated with the appropriate links and information regarding WebTMA. We have also created this reference guide with information about WebTMA including the link to the new request form. Please email facilities@wpi.edu with any questions.

Need Assistance?

The Facilities team is committed to making this transition as seamless as possible. If you have questions about the new system or the transition process, please contact the WPI Facilities Department at facilities@wpi.edu.

Thank you for your cooperation and support as we implement WebTMA. We look forward to providing a more efficient, reliable, and user-friendly maintenance management experience for the entire WPI community.
