Faculty and Students to Showcase WPI at Upcoming AAAS Annual Meeting

WPI is proud to announce its participation in the upcoming 2025 Annual Meeting of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), taking place in Boston, Massachusetts, from February 13 to 15. The AAAS Annual Meeting is one of the world’s largest gatherings of scientists, engineers, educators, policymakers, and innovators.

As a recognized leader in scientific research and innovation, WPI will join hundreds of esteemed institutions and thought leaders to discuss the latest advancements in science and technology. WPI faculty and students will have the opportunity to showcase their groundbreaking research across a variety of fields, from AI and robotics to the life sciences, as well as our undergraduate and graduate programs – all at Booth #1011.

“We are excited to engage with the global scientific community at the AAAS Annual Meeting,” said Reeta Rao, AAAS fellow and Dept. Head of Biology and Biotechnology at WPI, who is helping organize WPI’s presence in Boston. She and a larger group of WPI staff and faculty are working together to ensure that WPI is well-represented.

“This conference offers WPI a unique platform to highlight the innovative work our faculty and students are doing, while also learning about the latest developments and advances in science and technology, to a wide variety of audiences” said Jean King, Peterson Family Dean of Arts & Sciences at WPI.
