The WPI Orchestra invites all students to submit compositions to our new Call For Scores for the WPI Orchestra. Selected compositions will be performed in the D term concert. Composers will receive a recording and video of their piece.
- Pieces must be scored for full orchestra
- Pieces can use electronics, no MIDI substitutes for acoustic instruments
- Film scores can be submitted
- All scores must be original compositions
- The duration for pieces is c.5 minutes. You may submit an excerpt of a larger work.
Submit scores to Prof Ibbett dribbett@wpi.edu
- Use the subject “WPI Orchestra - Call for Scores Submission”
- Submit a full score of your piece
- Optionally - submit an audio file or MIDI mockup of your piece
The deadline for submission is January 19th by the end of the day. Selected pieces will be announced at the end of C term.
