In partnership with the University of Massachusetts Medical School, the Healthcare Delivery Institute at WPI is working with external partners to actively address the national and global challenge of creating the future of healthcare delivery. The institute's mission is to reinvent healthcare delivery to keep people healthy. It is doing this by developing new ways to deliver quality care to people wherever they may be – in health facilities, homes, the community, the workplace, or on the go.
A highlight of the conference will be an "Innovation Showcase," in which faculty research and faculty-led student projects and demonstrations will be on display. The symposium is sponsored in part by Xerox Corp, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, and EMC Corp.
