With 10 straight seasons of 20 or more wins, WPI Men’s Basketball takes the court for another hot season as they prepare for Saturday’s first home game vs. big-time rival MIT at 2pm.

With the team currently #6 in the country, head coach Chris Bartley tells the Daily Herd, “We’re excited to open conference play and we hope our student, faculty, and staff fans can make Harrington Auditorium a great atmosphere and home court advantage again this year.”

WPI’s student fans, the Aud Squad, are leading the charge to drum up school pride with a strong showing for Saturday’s game.

“The fans really make a difference for us,” admits Bartley. “We have five guys on the court playing, but we feel the Aud Squad is like our 6th player.”
