Expert Bio

Professor Djamasbi's research focuses on creating social and business value with innovation. In particular, she is interested in creating user and service experiences that enhance quality of life in environments that are becoming increasingly smart and connected such as smart homes, smart work places, smart campuses and stadiums. Her work also entails developing novel human-technology experiences by applying innovation framework to design thinking, design science and user experience theories

WPI receives $3M to study human-robot workplace interaction

The Worcester Business Journal reported on WPI receiving $3 million from the National Science Foundation to study human-robot interaction in the workplace. Eight WPI researchers are involved: Cagdas Onal (principal investigator), Yunus Telliel, Jeanine Skorinko, Winston Soboyejo, Jing Xiao, Pratap Rao, Soussan Djamasbi and Jane Li
