From sporting events and awards ceremonies to Q&As with new members of the campus community and a special turkey cameo, this month at WPI had it all. Bundle up and take a look at what WPI students, faculty, and staff were up to once they returned to campus in January.

This year’s recipients of the 2023 President’s IQP Award, (L–R) Alexandria Sheehan, Sara Frunzi, and Samuel Darer traveled to the Albania Project Center and focused their project work on understanding how fracking to extract oil in a village in Albania affects the women who live there.

After serving as the University of Cincinnati’s mental health program manager, Gina Heinsohn recently joined the WPI community as assistant director of the Center for Well-Being. Check out a recent Q&A with them to learn more about their role, their passion for wellness, well-being, and mental health, and what they hope to achieve at WPI.
