WPI's Annual "Pops" Concert November 11

WORCESTER, Mass. - The Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Stage Band, conducted by Richard Falco, director of jazz studies at WPI; and the Concert Band, conducted by Professor Douglas Weeks, director of applied music, will present their annual "Pops" Concert at 4 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 11, in Alden Memorial.

The program will feature student members of the WPI Ballroom Team and Social Dance Club performing to the music. Styles of dance will include tango, waltz, and swing. More than 100 WPI undergraduate musicians and dancers will participate in this event, now in its 25th year.

Tickets can be purchased at the door. The concert is $5 for students, $8 for the general public, and free for children and senior citizens.
