WPI to Hold Annual Pops Concert on Nov. 1

WORCESTER – The annual Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) Pops Concert will be held at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1 in Alden Memorial Hall, featuring the WPI Stage Band, directed by Richard Falco, and the WPI Concert Band, directed by Douglas Weeks. The guest soloist will be Ronald Barron, a retired principal trombonist with the Boston Symphony Orchestra who received the 2005 ITA Award from the International Trombone Association.

Admission is $8 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and $2 for trombone students.
