WPI Today Daily Email
WPI Today is an internal daily news digest emailed to WPI employees to share news, events, updates, and notices from the WPI website. To have your event or announcement included in WPI Today, enter it into Drupal following the instructions below. Contact wpitoday@wpi.edu with questions.
How to Get Your Event into the WPI Today Email
To ensure that your Event gets into the WPI Today, all items must be entered by noon in order to be included in the following day's email and dated with the correct event date. You must select "Faculty" and/or "Staff" in the “Audience” layout option and include "WPI Today" under the “Post to the Website” layout option so it will get automatically pulled into WPI Today.
Please note: There are 2 different sections that display events in the WPI Today, Today's events and Save the Date. There is a max limit on the Save the Date section of the WPI Today, as we only allow 20 events to be included each day.

How to add an event in Drupal 9
Events that have been entered into the University Calendar will be considered for “Today’s Events” and “Save the Date” sections of WPI Today. Make sure to choose faculty and/or staff for the audience. Watch the video to learn how to add an event in Drupal 9.
How to Get Your Announcement into the WPI Today Email
To ensure that your Announcement gets into the WPI Today, make sure it's dated for the day you want it displayed in the WPI Today. You must select "Faculty" and/or "Staff" in the “Audience” layout option and include "WPI Today" under the “Post to the Website” layout option so it will get automatically pulled into WPI Today. All items must be entered by noon in order to be included in the following day's email.
Example: If I want my Announcement to make it into the WPI Today on March 5th, I will need to create the Announcement on March 4th before noon and set the Announcement date to March 5th.
Exception: Monday's email is built on Friday afternoon. Please set the announcement date to Friday or Saturday (not Monday).
