D Term 2020 Add/Drop Process
For any course registrations requiring permission:
- Student: Fill out the Undergraduate or Graduate add/drop form and forward to the appropriate instructor/advisor.
- Advisor/Instructor: If you approve, please forward to firstname.lastname@example.org and cc the student. You do not have to actually sign it.
- Registrar Staff: We will respond to student and instructor/advisor once the registration is complete, or if there are any issues.
Course changes (add/drop) and Project/Independent study registrations without penalty for terms A-D may occur through the 5th day of the term, not including weekends. On days 6-10 of the term, not including weekends, add/drops are permitted with instructor approval. A $100 late fee will be charged per class (for adds) on days 6-10. No add/drops are allowed after day 10.
For 7 week Graduate Courses, a student can add a course without a fee through the fifth day of classes. On days 6-10 of the term, students can add courses (with instructor approval) with a $100 late fee. Students can drop courses on days 1-10 of the term without a fee. No drops are allowed after the 10th day of the term.
For 10 and 14 week Graduate Courses, a student can add/drop through the 10th day of the semester without a fee. After day 10 of the semester, students can add courses (with instructor approval) with a $100 late fee. No drops are allowed after the 10th day of the semester.
